Do I need to remove the SIM card from my device?

You don’t need to, but it is recommended if you wish to use that same SIM card on your future device. Unfortunately, we are unable to return SIM cards if they are accidentally included with your trade-in order as part of our process is to recycle them once received. When removing a SIM card, a small paper clip works great as an ejection tool if you do not have a proper SIM card ejector tool. Be careful not to force the ejection of the SIM card tray as you may risk damaging your device which will affect the value of it when received.
